SC Kalele has fought its way back to the Ntare Lions League finals. This has been a season of grit, heart, and unwavering belief—a campaign built on sweat, fans' passion, the sheer will to win, and 30 mirrions.
On Sunday, the team took a much-needed breather, playing against Bweras to keep their rhythm sharp. The weekend before, they sealed their spot in the final with a crucial win over Abazibu. But it wasn’t just about their victory—Machando’s 2-1 win over Bonshe meant qualification came down to goal difference, and Kalele had done just enough.
For Club President Dr. Alvin Akansasira, this qualification is about more than just football. "It’s not just a win for the team—it’s a win for the entire league fraternity," he said. "The work, the effort, the belief—it all comes together in moments like these."
Behind the team stand zealous sponsors Cube Engineering, Nivana, Fly Peacock, and Indulge Cakes, who have done whatever it takes to get us where we are now.
Among the players, there’s a quiet but steady confidence. Team captain Mukama, known to most as Pemma, summed it up in his usual no-nonsense style: "We’ve worked for this. We’re ready, and we shall deliver the shield."
Now, with all roads leading to Fort Portal and DRC for some on 12th April 2025, We're heading out to celebrate our annual Kalele Day tomorrow March 25th in the venue closer to you.
